Ingredients:
- 1 cups cubed watermelon
- one ripe banana
- 10 cashews
- few berries like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or cherries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon food-grade rosewater or orange blossom water
- you can also add fresh pieces of herbs like basil or rosemary for a nice flavor
Preparation:
Blend the watermelon, and any other flavor ingredients in a Vitamix or a blender and pour the mixture into Popsicle trays. Freeze for 4 to 6 hours or until the pop is frozen solid. Defrost for about 5 minutes before trying to remove the popsicle from the tray or you run the risk of pulling the stick out. You can also try running the tray (upside-down) under warm water to melt the outsides and loosen them up, making them easy to remove. Enjoy.
* Many times when I make smoothie in the morning and I have extra I use it to make raw ice cream or raw popsicles. Then when I want something cold and refreshing at the hot summer day I have many choices : )
