Juicing for Longevity

Juices are great for detox, especially when you are transitioning to plant based diet, during seasonal changes, when you feel tired or get sick. There are many kinds of juicers available on the market. Find the one that works for you and your budget. Make sure you juice using organic produce, such as greens, fruits and vegetables. I know many of you like smoothies, but juices are different then smoothies, they have no pulp and they get digested very quickly. Juices are like blood-magical elixir from plants and they will give you lots of energy throughout the day. Start your day with green juice and drink a juice in the afternoon as a pick me up drink instead of coffee. Remember to also drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Juice up, because juice a day keeps a doctor away!
